By 1952, the mining operation was now under the ownership of the Big Three Inc who had also decided to examine this property. Much of this examination had included ground-geophysics, 9 diamond drill holes, and some more trenching phases. After not encountering any discovery zones the company also decided to abandoned mining operations by the following year of 1953. Another attempt at getting this operation started was done in 1985, when Stroud Resources Limited, and Lacana Mining Ltd had acquired the mining and mineral rights to mine the Norrie Mine Site. Further explorations became commenced when mapping , trenching, sampling, ground geophysics, 8 diamond drill holes that obtained 100 feet of core sample, and geochemistry testing was done by 1989. Nothing encouraging came from these explorations to construct the mining operation further so the mine was once again abandoned. More attempts at finding the main vein zone was done within the years of 1996, and 1997..
